Divakar Vijayasarathy, the firm's founder and CEO, is a chartered accountant with a keen interest in international taxation, history and psychology. A passionate orator and professor on the subject of international and domestic taxation laws, he has presented more than 300 seminars and authored more than 15 books most of which have been national publications. He has served on numerous study groups and was part of the expert panel on international tax at ICAI. A noted expert on the subject he contributes regularly to national and international publications including being a Forbes Advisor.

Kavitha, a lawyer from ILS Pune, started her career with Indirect Tax and M&A practice. With a keen eye for detail and passion for growth, she gradually evolved to move on to handling strategic responsibilities at DVS before becoming the COO in 2021. All the relevant foundation functions including Finance, HR and Change Management report into her. A sports-person since childhood and a doting mother, she seamlessly handles her responsibilities with ease and is responsible for developing a diverse and inclusive workforce at DVS and a strong foundation for expansion. Kavitha is known for her clarity of thought, hands-on execution and immersive team building abilities.

S. M. Sundaram is a Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, Company Secretary, Chartered Financial Analyst, and MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, with several all-India ranks. He brings about 33 years of professional experience, predominantly in senior roles in Finance and Investment Management. Currently, he is a Partner & CFO at Creaegis, an asset management platform specializing in private equity investments for global endowments and institutional investors. He also serves as a Non-Executive Independent Director at Matrimony.Com Ltd. Prior to this, until April 2018, he served as Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Baring Private Equity Partners India, overseeing assets exceeding $1 billion across multiple fund entities. He was also the CFO of CSS Corp, a San Jose-based IT Services company with operations in multiple countries, until 2007. Additionally, until 2000, he was part of the senior management team at the Sanmar Group, a large business conglomerate headquartered in Chennai.

A graduate from the Birla Institute of Technology & Sciences, Pilani, India, he has a master’s degree in international economics and Management and an MBA; both from SDA Bocconi, in Milan Italy. He has strong international business and management consulting experience in Europe & in India. He runs a boutique firm that specializes in technology transfers, equity based joint ventures and M&A transactions. The firm delivers these services to mid-sized, family-owned Italian firms seeking to enter the Indian Market in the automotive Industry. He honed his, multi decadal, international business management and management consulting skills in firms like The UB Group, Necchi Compressori, The Boston Consulting Group and Value Partners. He resides in Chennai, India with his wife & daughter.

Chella Krishna.G( Krishna) Krishna is a practicing chartered accountant and a partner with SRSV and Associates, a CA firm in Chennai , Chartered accountants. Krishna is a noted advisor to several of Chennai’s large business families and has specialized for over 21 years in handing their personal structuring, investment and tax matters -both domestic and overseas. Krishna has experience performing investment supervision, capital allocation and arbitration for some large families in India Krishna also has experience with succession planning and a working knowledge of US taxes. In 2019, Krishna was elected to the board of Goolestan investments P Ltd and MRR Thirteen Ltd as a non-executive director. MRR is one of New york’s fastest growing real estate groups and controls hotels, land in Manhattan and Opportunity zones in the US He was also elected to the Board of Script stories P Ltd which owns EPIC TV which is in the infotainment vertical and the recently launched music channel on DD Free dish- Showbox. Krishna chairs the board of Mashal sports P Ltd, the company which runs the Kabaddi sports league and is on the board of Deeya, a fashion brand in Paris. Krishna also serves as Board director and Chairman of the Audit committee of Manali Petrochemicals Ltd and Elnet Technologies Ltd. Krishna holds the CA degree and an MBA from the Indian school of business, Hyderabad.

Subramanian K V (Prakash) is the CEO and Country Head of Large global hedge fund based in the US. He currently operates from India and is establishing the Fund's Capital presence in India. Prakash boasts 30+ years of diverse banking experience spanning Investment Banking, Treasury, Senior Management, and Governance. He has a notable track record in various markets across Asean, the Middle East, and India. In 1992, Prakash pioneered the first Middle East-based Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) in India for TAIB Bank, Bahrain. During 1996–2011, he held the position of MD & Regional Head Capital Markets for South Asia, overseeing significant capital market transactions in the region. From 2011 to 2017, he served as MD & Head Financial Markets at Standard Chartered Bank, Indonesia, leading sovereign and corporate bond issuances and contributing to ASEAN financial market governance. Between 2017 and 2022, Prakash held the roles of MD & Head – Strategy, Process, Subsidiaries & Governance, and was a Member of the SCB India Country Management Group. His extensive involvement with international financial centers includes his contribution to the development of the Gift City project and his advisory roles within the International Financial Services Centre Authority (IFSCA). He played a pivotal role in establishing the first foreign bank branch in IFSC and served on its Regulatory Committee. Prakash was also a Co-Chair of the India UK Financial Partnership Group (IUKFP). Prakash holds a Master’s Degree in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Dinesh is a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant heading the finance function of DVS. He is known for his attention to detail and robust financial planning. Dinesh has a proven track record in streamlining financial processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and enhancing financial reporting systems. His expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis has been instrumental in driving cost efficiency and optimizing financial performance at DVS. Prior to joining DVS, Dinesh gained valuable consulting experience at PwC and in-house finance experience at a US-based MNC. This background provided him with deep insights into the intricacies of the consulting industry and the financial and operational requirements of companies.

Sundar leads the International Tax and Transactions practice at DVS. He is a Chartered Accountant with more than a decade of experience in International Tax, FEMA and Mergers. He is an active researcher in the space and regularly contributes to leading media houses on the subject. Sundar works closely with leading corporations in FMCG, Automobile, Textile, IT industry, etc and has been consistently recognised by his clients for his clarity of thought and ability to break down complex problems. Prior to this stint, Sundar was into credit underwriting and has underwritten over Rs. 5000 crores of SME retail book across Southern India for leading NBFCs.

Nabeel leads the International Practice for DVS and both our Singapore and UAE offices report into him, and our clients across these regions and Africa are handled out of his office. He is a Chartered Accountant with Doctorate in Finance. Trained at various roles in the big 4 accounting firms, with unparalleled cross-cultural working and business experience, Nabeel is an active problem solver and thrives in complexity and chaos. He has been recognised by his clients for his warm hospitality and ability to conquer difficult situations with ease. This apart he is a professor across major universities in Dubai in the areas of Finance and Management and is actively engaged in various research projects at DVS.

Vignesh Narayanan leads the CFO Practice at DVS. As a Chartered Accountant, he started his career in Audit & Assurance and obtained wide exposure in finance, direct and indirect taxation before merging them into our CFO solution practice. He is a tech enthusiast and liberally uses the aid of tech solutions in delivering and delighting his clientele. He is known by his clients for his immersive engagement and deep commitment to problem solving.

Nasser heads the real estate broking practice of DVS at UAE. A civil engineer by qualification, Nasser has over a decade of hands-on experience in Real Estate and Construction Industry at UAE. An able administrator and executor, he has partnered with all top developers and lending partners and is one of the reliable realtors of the region.
