February 22, 2021According to Divakar Vijayasarathy, Founder of DVS Advisors, the government has stated that ice cream has been excluded from the benefit of composition scheme since the major raw material in preparation – milk – is exempt from GST and hence the government could not afford to provide the benefit of composition scheme to ice creams.
